On Sunday, May 26th of Memorial Day Weekend, the Charles Schwab Challenge will honor the men and women of the United States armed forces, who lost their lives while serving their country, by having a moment of silence when the tournament leaders are standing in the 14th fairway (approx. 3:50PM CST). During this time, all players, caddies, fans, and volunteers will be encouraged to participate by reflecting quietly in honor of those fallen soldiers. CBS talent, Jim Nantz, will say a few words and then cue the horns during the Sunday afternoon telecast. The horn will signal the start and finish of the moment of silence (approx. 40 seconds), after which, play will resume.
