Fort Worth, Texas – October 23, 2025 - For the 21st consecutive year, the Charles Schwab Challenge PGA TOUR event has assisted in providing a multi-million-dollar infusion of cash for the local charitable community through the tournament’s Birdies For Charity campaign.
Officials from the Charles Schwab Challenge and Fort Worth Colonial Charities announced today that $18,976,177 was generated through this year’s Birdies For Charity program during the 2025 tournament at Colonial.
The tournament’s 33 charity partners secured $18,976,177 in donation pledges from their supporters, then the PGA TOUR pros did their part by making 1,269 birdies during the Charles Schwab Challenge last May.
“Over the past two decades, our Birdies For Charity program has continued to gain momentum and brand identity. Birdies For Charity is only successful due to our partner charities being fully committed to the initiative which includes these non-profits putting in a great deal of work to promote it and to secure the pledges,” commented Logan Dickinson,
Of the PGA TOUR events staging Birdies For Charity campaigns, the Charles Schwab Challenge is one of the largest on TOUR. Since the program’s inception locally in 2005, Birdies For Charity has generated nearly $195,000,000 for participating charities, all being local.
“Once again, the front-line charitable organizations in Tarrant County have stepped up and have been very intentional with their efforts surrounding Birdies For Charities – the result: Millions of dollars pouring back into our community that we all love. Fort Worth Colonial Charities is proud to be the facilitator, and we are excited to see all the good work that these funds support,” noted Brian Estridge, President and CEO of Fort Worth Colonial Charities.
