Chef Jon Bonnell serves second round leader Webb Simpson a gourmet-prepared lunch today at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
PGA TOUR players were treated to a special treat during this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge.
Five high-profile Fort Worth chefs have prepared gourmet meals for the players in the player dining room at Colonial. On their designated day, each of the chefs prepared one of their signature dishes on site in the player dining room where they have been able to meet and interact with the players and their wives and families.
The five chefs and their restaurants are:
- Jon Bonnell, Bonnell’s
- Michael Thomson, Michael’s Restaurant
- Molly McCook, Ellerby Fine Foods
- Travis Heim, Heim BBQ
- Ben Merritt, The Fitzgerald Restaurant.
