  • Former winners of the Charles Schwab Challenge Tournament prior to 2000.
  • Winners of the 2000 Charles Schwab Challenge Tournament and beyond for a period of five years.
  • Winners of the 2000 Charles Schwab Challenge event and beyond who, after five years, finish in the top 150 of the previous year's PGA TOUR Money List.
  • Winners in the last 5 years (2015-2019) of the Players Championship and Masters tournaments.  
  • Winners in the last 5 years (2014-2018) of the U.S. Open, PGA Championship and British Open tournaments.  
  • Winners of the TOUR Championship in the last three years (2016-18).
  • Winners of World Golf Championship events in the last three years.
  • Winners of the previous three Arnold Palmer Invitationals (2017-19) and Memorial Tournaments (2016-18).
  • Winners of PGA Tour co-sponsored or approved tournaments since the last Charles Schwab Challenge Tournament.
  • Playing members of the last-named U.S. Ryder Cup Team (2018), and last-named U.S. President's Cup Team (2017).  
  • Current PGA Tour members who were players on the last-named European Ryder Cup Team (2018) and International President's Cup Team (2017). 
  • Two players to be selected by the current and former champions of the Charles Schwab Challenge Tournament ("Champions' Choices").
  • The 15 lowest scores, and anyone tied for 15th place in the previous year’s Charles Schwab Challenge Tournament.
  • On invitation by the tournament, a maximum of 12 players, which shall include: two PGA Tour members not otherwise eligible, from the top 50 qualifiers from the previous year's Web.com Tour.
  • Top 50 players from the Official World Golf Ranking through the 2019 Masters.
  • Top 80 players from the final 2018 FedExCup points list.
  • Tour members in the Top 125-Nonmembers category whose official money in 2018 equals or exceeds the amount of official money earned by the player in the 80th position on the 2018 Official FedExCup points list.  
  • The top 80 players, not otherwise eligible, on the 2019 Official PGA TOUR FedExCup points list through the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship.
  • If necessary to complete a field of 120 players, those players below 80th position on the 2019 Official PGA TOUR FedExCup points list through the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship,in order of their positions on such list.
